As a licensed bistro cafe, we use local suppliers wherever possible and believe in free range, fairtrade and GM free produce.
We are now open at Number 4 on Friday and Saturday evenings, and if you are looking for a more intimate venue for a private function, party or wedding, we offer the perfect atmosphere and surroundings.
With outside dining also available in our sunny garden, Number 4 has everything to offer, whether you are after a coffee and cake, lunch or an evening dining experience.
We now hold regular music nights and other weekday evening events.
Here at Number 4 we aim to use local suppliers where ever possible. Our Free range meat
is supplied by Danestream farm in New Milton Hamshire and our coffee's and tea's are all
organic and fair trade. All of our cakes and dishes are homemade by our experienced
chef's here on the premises.
As members of the slow food organisation we believe in the preparation and cooking of food
from fresh produce. This means you may wait a little longer for your dish to arrive but know
that it has not come from a packet. We know that you really will be able to taste the
difference and understand that quality comes first when treating yourself to food and drink.
Great Music and great food is the perfect combination for a night out. We have searched to
bring to you some of the best musicians. Building a reputation for regular music
nights, we have found a wealth of talented performers to entertain you. From Jazz to Latin,
to Gypsy guitars. You will find my space links to some of the performers if you want a taste
of their style.
Come and enjoy one of our mid week poetry evenings of performance and participation. We also
